the week behind

Wow, has it been a crazy time over the last two weeks!! It is un believable that it is already the 21st of February; where does the time go.

Besides our regular Friday evening dinner into Saturday time with the guys, this past Thursday took a little trip to Dimona which is way down in the desert.  One of our regular "kids" had just completed a four month commanders course and we went to the graduation ceremmony.  The "tekas" was held at the soccer stadium.  There were almost 300 new commanders for the army at the completion of the event.  Each tekas is unique, and important but this is one that not everyone will go through, and that makes it even more special.  And I must say, it was a refreshing change and a nice break from all the shopping, meetings, cleaning, and last minute items we deal with day to day.

We Care!

Ha Miflaht HouseIt is no easy task to pick up and move from one place to another. It is even more difficult when you leave all you know and love in one country and move to another. Not only are you adjusting to a new land, but also language, culture, climate, time, thought process, food, the list goes on, and on. And now, think of doing it alone, all by yourself.

The door has been opened for us to be able to help these young men and women make the transition to Israel a little easier. Read more
